  • Where's this train heading?

  • @EsotericDesi01 To be honest I don't know. Most likely its an long distance train cause of the consist, the regionals usally only have amfleets in the consist. But if I was to guess I'd say Miami or Louisana.

  • @23145567 Don't they switch to diesel when they go that far?

  • @Megahammerheadshark Yes, but when they get to DC they do the engine swap.

  • @loverboy7905 Actually the Amtrak Silver Meteor still does (usually) have the Viewliners in front. Sorry.

  • @EsotericDesi01 I believe this is the Silver Meteor (NY-Miami) or Crescent (NY-New Orleans). You can tell because it has 3 Viewliner sleepers. The Silver Star and other long-distance trains out of NY Penn Station have only two sleepers.

  • @EsotericDesi01 That train leaving New York is the Silver Meteor on route to Miami.

  • One guy filmed this baggage car on the train its a ex-CZ baggage!

  • @p42Amtrak83 only AEM-7ACs (except 916) have the GW E-Bells.

  • @EsotericDesi01 miami florida
