I agree with your point buy for me when I look at history, such as Zimbabwe, people used gold and silver to trade. I'm sure if it gets down to mad max situation food, water and energy is more essential but before we get to that point I believe it gold and silver will be used.

No, I am just saying that gold in times of limited essential resources is useless. Ancient civilizations had no real use for gold, and used it mainly as decorations, nothing essential. (Only the ancient Ananaki needed it for a real purpose, to restore their atmosphere, if you beleive such a thing). You will see what I am talking about in due time. Money, whether it be paper, a rock, a metal, are all lifeless and do not keep the humans alive, it is only a form of government.
