I can't see how you could say this is was the best Pac-Man game ever at the time or of all time. It's too different from regular Pac-Man! That doesn't mean it's bad. I've never played it, but I just kept thinking the whole video, "How could this be the best Pac-Man when it ISN'T a Pac-Man game!?". Even if the classic games are in it.

I have this game on SNES. This kind of makes me want to play but I don't know if I want to go through the frustration of him not listening. I really wanted to beat the hell out of him.
