Is it a pre-wired set or bought seperately ?

I'm also a single coil purest and hate the hum when using overdrive.

My Highway Strat is very noisy with the factory vintage stock pickups !

I'll be seriously thinking about having them put in now.

I would guess it was impossible to get such a warm and deep tone, using 500kohm pots?? I never dared using other than 250kohm for my singlecoils.

Incredible Demo, you really showed how they sound and react to your playing. To me, I prefer the sound with the hum better. It is a very small difference in tone, and I absolutely hate hum. I shielded my Strat Pickup Cavity with Copper Tape. That reduced the hum in half, you can never totally get rid of it. It's a double edged sword, good tone -- but an annoying hum. Again Killer Video. Best Noiseless Pickups I've ever heard.

Rod! I just bought a 70s reissue Fender ASH Strat with the GFS Vintage FAT Neovins in it. I was skeptical, because nothing else goes in my Guitars but Duncans/DiMarzios/Bardens/Fral­ins, PRS etc. When I played this guitar yesterday 12/29/10 for the 1st time I was FLOORED. I go through a very nice sysatem a MESA Quad pre/and a MESA 295 Simulclass Amp, and the MESA RECTO 4 x 12 cab. I could not put the guitar Down! Allll day today too. These GFSs are AMAZING. I am SOLD. WOW I'm in SHOCK
