I suffer from mental illiness, run to Jesus and dont depend on others, go to therapy take your medication,and pray to Jesus, i had those scriptures spken to me as a way of condeming me for being ill, but they where written for people like us, the down trodden and hopeless ,not for the religous perfect people that i have seen in some churches, not all,not all people are false, I dont like churches they are soo condeming it is hard their words are nose in my ears not life. this is a video of life

@wonderhappyness one of my struggles is religion as well however I don't see Jesus nor true Christianity as a religion. Sadly many people assume that Christianity is a religion however once I studied the history of Christianity I realized there is a no such thing as Christian religion that, that in of it self is man made in which I do not agree with either however true Christianity is a relationship with God through Christ which has nothing to do with the demise of a man made religion!

Most of us have been raised in very religious settings, there is speculation that religion may even cause some problems with us, my collapse was caused by my belief system which was directly related to my religion, good luck.

@movadoband i don't view my belief as a religion but rather a relationship thru Christ. Man's religion has never brought peace or for that fact a healthy state of mind.

About 12 years ago at the rubbish tip on my hands & knees calling out to God saying "YOU who made heaven & earth in less then 1 week,YOU GOD heal me or kill me",after driving home being angry at God I picked up the Word & couldn't find an answer so I threw the Bible on the table & it opened at 2nd Cor ch9 the only red writng on the 2pages was MY GRACE IS SUFFICENT 4 U 4 IN YOUR WEAKNESS IS MY STRENGTH MADE PERFECT.This verse from God, caused tears of joy. My b/p is Gods way of keeping me safe.

@wonderhappyness Bull shit. There are both genetic and chemical causes for bi-polar. While environment and situational stuff may exacerbate bi-polar, they can also help manage it. Don't bother hating those of us who have faith and are able to deal because of it, we are not the root of your continued disfunction, and to stereotype all of us as the same is both ignorance and hypocrisy. YOU choose whether to give in to youe bi-polar or whether to use it for something bigger. Period.

going to church and trying to be spiritual is the only thing that helps me with being bipolar. i am in therapy and have been on many different medications for depression and bipolar. nothing helps. i have suicidal ideation constantly and have become a recluse. if i didn't have God, i would have killed myself long ago. God is real.
