Critically endangered around the world, Australia is the last bastion for the Freshwater Sawfish (Pristis microdon). The team from Cairns Marine venture into the remote and inhospitable regions of the southern Gulf of Carpentaria, home to an abundance of crocodiles, in order to collect a small number of juvenile specimens for conservation and display in public aquaria.

  • @nabbocchild WRONG

  • too bad mankind gonna make them extinct soon

  • @krazefrogg Probably paddlefish. Also by the last bastion they mean the last place where they're still staying strong and abundant. They still live in the Bahamas and around the gulf, but are critically endangered.

  • So if australia is the only place where they still live why have me and my family seen skeletons and just recently dead ones on shore of little rivers in missouri?

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • Where's part 2? Awesome video!
