From what I hear Petey asked to be released from his TNA contract and TNA said ok.I also heard Petey second guessed the request later on.Who knows whats actually true though.TNA does have way too much talent though and its costing them pointless money.The roster is so good that no mater who they cut, some people will have a problem with it but oh well.WWE cut 20 wrestlers in one day and had a kinda "just deal with it" mentality towards the fans.

Yeah the facts around Petey's release seem to be a bit confusing as there are conflicting reports and as is usual in the wrestling business its doubtful we'll ever get a full explanation. WWE did cut talent but none of it was top level talent. I hope TNA figures it out soon, its difficult to enjoy Impact when I'm trying to follow 80 different storylines.
