  • may i know tristan's speech problem?

  • @88himmel Sure, he's five now and still has trouble pronouncing his r's, y's sh's, and th's. His father had a slight speech impediment at the same age, due to thumb sucking, but so far, Tristan is doing better and works every day on flash cards. Advice to anyone who wants to help their child, Flash Cards. Everyday. Make it fun and it will stick with them. :) :) :)

  • @thescorpioqueen: Hello, can I ask what flash cards you were using? My son just started speech therapy and so far I am not happy with the facility. Thank you!

  • @papercandles We use any type of flash card that's just generic. You can get them anywhere including Toys R Us, smaller specialty toy stores or Wal-Mart. I find that the boys enjoy using flash cards with different pictures and tend to remember more if I make the cards into a story. You can always google or search for a specific type you're looking for. With the speech therapy, repetitiveness is the key. :) Hope that helps!

  • The mother's presence was a distraction from the therapy.

  • @bonnieebrown I could not agree with you more. But that's her son, and those are some of the memories that would not have been shared if it wasn't for her "invasive" methods.

  • @MultiBullet10 I would advise you to book an appointment with your doctor sharing your concerns. Children have variably developmental milestones but current knowledge has it first words anywhere from 10-15 months and some 50 words in the word bank by 2 years old. Is your child deaf?

  • cute! :D

  • my son is 4mths away from 3 and he dont speak and he is not autistic and it worries me a bit

  • @alishaandtim My mother is the one talking in the video (JUST an FYI to everyone) But yes, he does sound fine for a 2 year old, but he was only getting the therapy for pronunciation. His r's and s's and t's. He's 5 and still getting speech therapy, for certain words. He has a "speech impediment", thank you for your interest.
