From the 1977 album MOONFLOWER. This was a double album with half the songs being live and half the songs being studio cuts. This song was one of the studio cuts.It was originally recorded by the Zombies in 1964 and written by Rod Argent.

    Hey, be nice now. Some of you are missing the point about artistry. The song was written by Ron Argent of the Zombies and first performed by them. It's a great song. Santana covered it BECAUSE it's a great song and Carlos put his mark of genius on it. Arguing about who's version is best is pointless. It's like who is more of a genious Cole Porter or Ella Fitzgerald.

    Written by Rod Argent as stated in the info section. Agreed 100%! It's silly to argue over who's version is better. It's all subjective. Every song should be judged as a stand alone. It's okay to compare but to discount any song because it's better/worse than any other is a waste of time. I think some of these people just want to get into a pissing contest.

    The Zombies Version has a great keyboard solo but I think the Santana version is FAR better in pretty much all aspects. Much more interesting vocals and possible 2 of the best guitar solos of all time in 1 song. And a much better intro.
