this is an old tune i recorded in amsterdam with loesha stoutenbeek a few years back, i twiddled with it a bit and added a couple of my poems from about ten years ago..
i've still got no camera, so it's magix effects again i'm afraid...

where does the voice of man begin
does it grow within the heart?
or maybe in the soul of man
surely that must be the start?

or is it something deeper
with it's roots spread all around?
or has man forged a tomb for it
lay deep within the ground?

and will we ever hear again
that voice long dulled by time?
a sound so pure and distant
locked deep within our mind

and can we ever open
the bolts that hold it fast?
and step inside to listen
to the music of the past?

i fear one day that maybe
man will construct a wall
to outlaw such devotion
and dull the hallowed call

but if the heart is open
the stone will fall away
and there is found
the sacred sound
of the soul
that lost
it's way

wow... ive been phathoming scapes along these waves. expanding out from the shells borne unto us. we creators, yahhh drop the stone! open heart...!!! tis the way. thanks for the encouragement. how a strangers poem reflects my own self transformation; spirit lion nourishment of zion.
