Marc Bolan - Everyone Says 'Hi' - Tribute

With all these hundreds of TV channels we have these days, I eagerly put a search in my TV guide to see if there was a programme celebrating Marc Bolan's anniversary this year, in the U.K... I couldn't find one! I wasn't overly surprised as innovators are often left behind, but I still thought it was sad...
This video is my tribute to the first person that got me hooked on music, and also reflects on a feeling I would imagine many of us have, about loved ones gone, which Bowie explains, in the video...
Attempting to get that message over, it ended up a bit of a surreal edit... But hey-ho surreal was a big part of Marc Bolan.

great video.....i'd love to know what the name of the song is that Bolan & Bowie sang at the end of the Marc show in 1977........well done bowieaddick!

@weff4 Thanks a lot... I think it was going to be called "Standing next to you" or "Sleeping next to you? There is a jam session of Bowie & Bolan rehearsing the song at Marc's home, but as far as I know, It was never recorded in the studio...Sadly never properly finished, even on the show, as Marc fell off stage and it ended it early...Damn!

Wenn Bowie sagt, dass Marc sehr clever war und alles immer bis ins Kleinste geplant hat und nichts dem Zufall überlassen hat... Als wir sahen,dass er die Krise überwunden hatte ist er gegangen .....ODER ? Er war doch dazu noch zu jung !!! Diese Fragen !

Superb tribute to Marc. Produced with great class and respect for the memory of Marc Bolan. I've been a fan for over 40 years and its seems like yesterday since I heard the news of Marc's death on that sunny Friday morning. The repeated use of the opening chords to 20th Century Boy is inspired. Thank you.
