Sounds reasonable. There's no wrong way to kill capitalism. But I'm not convinced that capitalists will ever allow anything to come between them and profit. As you frequently observe, they manufacture artificial desires for products that nobody really needs and consumers literally kill to be first in line to buy. Moreover, human labor can never be totally removed from production, and minimizing the rate of profit is deadly under capitalism. So is there any end of the technological money trail?

Raising the quality of life of OUR working class (so they won't revolt) at the expense of 4/5 of the rest of the world. Only thing that changed in 1945 was the US capacity to enforce it ("enclosures"). What happens from now depends on us ---- Agreed. We are responsible to build the future from the bottom-up, rather than passively allowing others to drive us into the ground from the top-down.

Looking for openings (for new forms of social relations?) ---- Yeah. Me too. I'd be interested in your views (speculation?) about "primative accumulation" for socialism to "reproduce" itself.

I talk about some of my thoughts on this topic on an essay on my blog called "in defense of teleology". I basically speculate that we need to push the evolution of the forces of production to a place where they can no longer sustain profits. I believe this might be happening now with information technology and that it could conceivably happen with green energy were we to emerge from this crisis with some sort of green new deal. "Free energy" and "free information" should be our slogans.
