Any idea what was the cause? Seemed pretty uneventful flight up to that point. Also surprised you had to pull the stabilo line to re-inflate the wing. I guess you must have been flying a class 2 or above glider with limited passive safety.

The wing is UP Kantega2 class 1-2. Very safe and predictable glider, but this particular site is extremely demanding especially during midday hours. Breeze from the nearby sea mixes with strong thermals from green houses and trees below and creates very violent shifts of the air. I just caught edge of one such bubble.
