Two Indians with Indian Sign Languages from two tribes at Pow Wow

My wish came true since I got an American Indian Sign language book. Finally I met two of three Indians from two different tribes. I know one of them has a deaf daughter. They live near me. They are generations from the Lenape Tribe. It is fun to watch their Indian Sign Languages and American Sign Language .. At Pow Wow, I asked a few Indians if they know any Indian sign language. They helped me to find two Indians.

No, I am not Canadian. Sorry. I am from Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Berks. I visited that Pow Wow. I am an American Sign Language teacher videotaping two Indians to show that there is no univeral sign language. I do not have William Tomkins' bookbut Indian Signals and Sign Language by Goerge Fronval and Daniel Dubois. Go to your nearby library to find some Indian Sign Language books.... some different tribes' languages...

my lakota friend protects his house with a bow... guns are dangerous, why cant people use primitive wepons to defend their homes?... anyone who cant defend themselfs with a knife, im sorry but your just too weak for your own good... we cant allow granny to protect herself with a gun if it means there will be a gun store for criminals to rob... i hate guns... i defend my house with a ninja star and a pocket knife, if your sneeky then its all you need

I wish we could turn the clock back. But I feel that the Indians now are like the Freemen in The God Emporor (Dune). Reservation Indians. We've lost our culture. Holding onto a dream.
