Yeah. That's common. It's not a good idea to sing from the show you're auditioning for.

i was gertie in oklahoma, and this is by far my FAVORITE song.
have you taken voice lessons? because i'm debating if they're really worth it.

They're TOTALLY worth it, just make sure you take them from the right person, and a person who's way of teaching works for you. Even people who are on Broadway take voice lessons. I've got a lot more to learn, but my voice lessons have helped me SO MUCH.

@nekoexcel too bad you lose your fake accent when you press your vibrato. reading words dont make them yours. you have to live in the dialect. you sounded like a horse trying to be a duck. if you did take voice lessons - you might need to fire that teacher and get some one who can help you if you can.

@thirdtalent The instructor for this class directed me to NOT use a full accent. Sorry you disagree.
