I want to get a numark m4 (4 channel mixer) so do I need to get an external soundcard in order to mix with that and VDJ?

@iDylDubstep yes because your pc with only one sound card can only give you one stereo channel to the mixer. and you need 2 in order to mix.

i also use stanton smx-201 and i want to asku something...my laptop has 2 exits from my sound card...if i xonnect the way you showed both RCA cables can i have stereo sound?

its working through the left and right but, my crossfader and 2 volume's arnt doing anything! I'm using a Stanton smx-201

you dont get stereo sound with this.

The best on laptop is you buy one usb soundcard and choose 2 soundcard in VDJ. Then u put one cable in phone exit and another cable in the usb soundcard. (Jack-RCA)

The the other sides of the cables u put in the mixer A side line in and Bside line in .

well i have everything almost ok but i dont know why i get a bzzzzzzzzzz when connect from laptop headphone exit...

i have an 7,1 external card too so im all the time experiment busy how to do things without throw my laptop from the balkony or burn something!
