Echo & the Bunnymen from TOTP. NOT TOTP2! They are miming to a specially pre-recorded and different version to the record. This was when the music union allowed bands to mime but only to re-recorded versions. This was how it was broadcast at the time. No overdub from CD or record. This version is possibly not available on record anywhere else but here.

Every band mimed on TOTP them days.. atleast the guy on stilts is REALLY on stilts (i think!)

@Danchiba hi yes they mimed BUT they had to rerecord their track to be able to mime to it. So this is different to their record.
