Brian gives a career tribute to Ted Williams as he sits in the left field stands at Fenway Park next to the famed red seat where Williams hit his longest homerun.

  • My dad and I went to this game when I was 8. My family lives in Georgia (go Braves) so it was just a father-son trip to Boston for the All-Star game. I still remember the jets flying overhead during the national anthem scaring the **** out of me.

  • right field...

  • I remember this game, what I remember most was watching Ted been carted on to the field in a golf car and he was so happy to be among McGuire, Bonds, Griffey, and all those great guys during that all star game. Of course he was talking hitting with those guys. It brought a tear to my eye...Unfortunately this was the year I believe that the great Joe DiMaggio passed away. I was in Florida on spring break. I just remember thinking to myself, one of the last icons from old time baseball was gone.
