Just putting some early pics together with recent ones, and setting them to music. The exercise is not as self-indulgent as it looks!!

  • Great montage. Good songs. Lovely old pics and impressive newer ones....

  • Thanks very much - it was my first effort, and really need to re-edit. Too many pics. V. glad you like it. Willie and Townes - one needs little else!

  • I sent you an email re this ... sort of. I wasn't comparing ... sort of sharing ... hard to explain.

    Kindest Regards

    Indy

  • Thank you - and yes, it is a very compelling song. I need two baskets and a winch to help me carry a tune, but you do a wonderful job with it. It's all about heart when you get down to brass tacks.

  • All about heart?????? Well, in my case it would be an abject failure! I am a bit like Kaw Lija. Do you know that fulla?

  • Poor old KawLija....of the broken heart and red face? I do indeed!!! No, but seriously, it's obvious how much you love the material, and there is nothing pretentious, just very honest - and THAT's great in and of itself.

  • Ok, Anna. You were ritea again. Flatlander is one righteous dude.

  • Yes Anna, Its your eyes. Beautiful ! I found myself tilting my head back and forth to see straight into them. I have a special connection with "You were always on my mind. " Its a sad situation about neglect. I am wondering why you connect that song with your childhood ?

  • I must say that after watching it, i had a tearing my eye. It chocked me up and thats a hard thing to do. Great song really moving. And i have to tell you that those pics of you are breath taking. Those eyes draw a guy in close and your smile entraps him. really stunning. Don't ever change

  • Nope!!!!!!!!

    More like.

"He always wore his Sunday feathers and held a tomahawk

The maiden wore her beads and braids and hoped someday hed talk

Kaw-Lija-A, too stubborn to ever show a sign

Because his heart was made of knotty pine."
