During a race at Oschersleben in the Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup, Jeroen Slaghekke starts to be troubled by electrical issues. Unwilling to give up, he decides to fix it in a creative way: take the steering wheel off, and put it on again at full speed.

If that's the case then how come he was fine going around that corner the previous lap? His tyres would have only increased much more in temperature after that anyway, so I think the cold tyres argument is just false.

I always thought that they deflated them to much at the start(to lower car height). and then after the safety car they cooled down even more. And lowering the car to low. Which makes it lose all the downforce.

No. What happended with Senna was that the tyres were cold (cause of the security car that's slow) and they had no grip enough to do the turn. Understeer
