With new signals going up everywhere, ex-DRS engine 66420 heads 4M28 through Walmley, on the Sutton Park line, just after 1400 this afternoon.

Ten minutes later and the same scene was transformed when a cold sleety hailstorm broke over the area. Two intrepid railmen are seen strolling through the deluge.

The final clip, taken around midday, shows an unknown Class 66 passing Daw End with 4G53, the Heartlands Park - Bescot car empties.

Thursday 26th Jan. 2012.
