  • susun, i always think about having dairy, but even goats milk makes my ear swell inside and my sleep apnea returns. maybe i dont need it, but sometimes i crave it. i also do not take gluten at all.. but maybe is there some thing else i could eat to make the dairy ok with my body. i do eat meat and other grains and i find also cabage family foods make me bloated and gassy.

  • This is the kind of thing that I need to know!...how to go outside and actually **identify** the plants that I want to harvest! I don't yet feel knowledgeable enough to really do this on my own. I'm afraid of getting a hold of something poisonous Nettle grew around our farm constantly; so I know that one but I'm very ignorant still of so much. In fact, I didn't know until about a year or two ago that you could actually **USE** nettle! We always killed it and burned it! arg. :(

  • You look so happy sitting there among those plants :D makes me smile.

We have quite a few of those plants also here in Scandinavia. I've picked some nettle and I have been eating quite a lot of dandelion in my salads.

  • @p4h10oso AS I hear, we are about to copy Europe. there is talk about banning people from growing thier own food. What are they going to do, kill all the wild plants too? this world sucks now. Wish we all could farm like the old days. That is how the worls will get back on it's feet.

  • Just wonderful! Thanks for sharing your forays which are very different than those in the Southern U.S. Blessings to you and yours!

  • Stinging nettle is murder, but I've just ordered some nettle tea.

  • Is that stinging nettle? We have it in Florida and it got me twice already.

  • Now that Europe is cracked down thru regulations on homeopaths and natural remedies by outlawing most of them (the ones they say are less than 20years old in common practice) your knowledge is so valuable to us in America. Hope we don't copy Europe! thank you
