My friend Bob went to over 30 Masters tournaments. This is his bird's eye description of the 1987 Larry Mize chip-in to beat Greg Norman.

  • this blokes an idiot he "lifted a sandwedge up"? that was a skull if it misses the pin it goes 15 feet past the hole.wat a clown

  • My hats off to Larry! Hearing him speak to 200+ golfers at the Men's Golf Fellowship in Naples, FL was a real treat! His testimony of his love for the Lord Jesus Christ which he spoke of, without reservation, was encouraging to me, a struggling golfer and Christian. It's nice to hear that your heros share many of your same struggles!

God Bless, as you continue to speak out in HIS name,

  • no norman lost to faldo coz he shit his pants.

  • How do you not "deserve" a win?

WTF? Are you Gregory Norman? Is that you flounder? You suck!

  • and a third thing ...

You reckon Norman had a big head because he considered himself the world's best driver ?? He WAS the world's best driver for about 15 years. Are you a complete idiot??

  • On second viewing .. Bob also says Seve was on the left side of 10 - Seve actually hit a 3 iron to the right rear of the green and 3 putted. Who is this guy and did he actually see this tournament? lol

  • this guy don't know what he's talking about ... on the first playoff hole on 10, mize hit his approach to about 8 feet under the hole and just missed the birdie putt. Secondly, Norman lost the meltdown final round to Faldo because he aimed for every sucker pin on the course and kept missing greens. It was his poor course management not his iron shafts.

  • Mize never deserved it - complete fluke. His record since that 'win' backs this up

  • that's what he said.
