I should say that this person didn't need fame and stardom, though talented enough for a host of artists herserlf, she turned her attention to other mattetrs. (All conjecture, of course). I hope her current projects -whatever they are- are as fulfilling as the music she recorded! Though hers is accessiblr, I miss a voice like it in today's pop music.

The only thing I'd ever heard hers was Pretty Girls & Gonna Get Close to You-I think that's the title-& I'm on the W. Coast. Little Cdn-only-dist. artists -like Luba- end up owing huge bucks to record co.s w/ no way to repay unless you get US or Int'l. dist. & promo. There just aren't enough people in Cda. alone. Anyhow, I liked her voice when she SANG; I have no clue what kind of weird Ziggy Stardust crap this is, but it is not doing anything to show off her chops & it has no soul.

She didn't record any Diane Warren songs..... why didn't she want to record commercial, "sellable" songs? Maybe because she thought pop music at the time was shit.

Great song - - I only know the Heart version (one of Ann's BEST recorded vocals ever). Dalbello's vocal stylings are not my cup of tea, though.

I just can't understand why Dalbello didn't endure the industry for much longer than she did. She has such a strong, rich voice and it's pure magic. She was always a little ahead of her time. All of her songs are creative and have something different to offer. I hear her once in awhile in commercials, now. Wish she'd give it another try.
