I think in that case, agnosticism would be a better starting point. You can't know until evidence. Then, make your own assumptions, based on what you believe being the most logical choice to believe in.

If after that they turn Atheist, that's a good news.

If not, maybe you should talk with them to understand why they made that choice and if someone influenced them to. Talk is the key here.

Of course but subjecting kids to atheism is just as bad, kids shouldn't be told how to think. Atheism is a stance too yo.

How can you not teach theism and not teach atheism at the same time?

You better not put false ideas in there heads when they are young, because they'll likely not change in the future. Let them decide if they want to subscribe to a religion when they come to age.

So, atheism before, let say legal age, seams a good choice to teach.
