*HUGE thanks to cry0genik for the awesome guitar remixes! Come check out his website: http://cryogenik.com *

Here's a little overview of every stages that appear in this part of the run, how they turned out and what were the objectives to do in each one for this run:

- Dr. Wily's Stage 2: Yay, that music again *drools*! For the first part, I had to use Item-2, and then I just had to fall down, watching out for the spikes below. I might have wasted a bit too much Metal-Blade ammo on the Detachable Walls but in the end, it turned out to be just ok for the boss rush and Wily later on. I knew they took 3 hits for each parts but yeah, I guess I was starting to get nervous.

- Dr. Wily's Stage 3: The only thing I feared here was the part with the spikes when I had to fall down to meet with Guts Dozer but I timed my move right and nothing bad happened, like dying for example! I used the Quick-Boomerang, again, to destroy Guts Dozer.

- Dr. Wily's Stage 4: This is the hardest Wily stage for Mega Man 2, in my opinion. The stage is one thing: It's all about timing. I've noticed that I was going a little bit too fast in the stage, pulling out tricks with the Item upgrades but there's always a risk of me falling right on the spikes and dying, or just when the invincibility stops after a couple of seconds after hitting an enemy. Luckily, it didn't happen this time (I guess I'm stupid or something...!). I used that little "glitch" when you open the menu and close it (I just picked Item-1 at the same time), Mega Man's fast falling animation cancels and you get a little boost in the direction you want to go. That way, I could get on that little block on the final moving platform screen. Now the Orb Room is definitely something. You only have one shot at it and I knew that I had to enter the room with filled Crash Bombs. If I wanted to take care of Wily easily later on (without using the picked up Energy Cantine, and I didn't use at all anyways), I needed at least 1 remaining shot of that Crash Bomber weapon so once again it was all about timing. First thing to do was to shoot a Crash Bomb right between the Orb and the wall on the top-left corner of the screen. Then I move my way to the top-right Orb and destroy it, then shoot a Crash Bomb right between the two walls on the bottom right-corner of the screen. The rest was pretty simple, I just missed dodging a couple of shots (see how fast the shots go, they are unavoidable unless I use that open menu trick but... Nah!). By the way, for no apparent reason, Mega Man and the Orbs are like invisible in the video (must be my recording application), but luckily the rest of the boss fight is there.

*Total video time: 40 min 20 sec*
*Music: I've used cry0genik's Mega Man 2 Guitar Remixes for this video. I've used the sample tracks, edited in my own way just so you guys could enjoy it even more! There are also two bonus tracks not available ANYWHERE ELSE, which are the "Winning Theme" after defeating a boss and the "Idle Drum Theme" from the Weapon Get screen. Anyways, if you guys are interested, you should definitely come check out his website: http://cryogenik.com ! I've barely used the original sound from the original video, but if I did it was mostly the boss explosion sounds.*

  • when u say no miss do u mean no death or no hit cause i saw u get hit twice

  • No death. Thanks for your interest! =P

  • Good run... are you playing it on the anniversary edition, or was there rapid-fire on the NES as well?

  • No Rapid-fire, NES version. I simply took advantage of the 3 shots-on-screen limit.
