After a hiatus in 2010, the individual time trial returns to Solvang. The quaint Danish village of hosts some of the Pro Tour teams annually for training camps, as well as some of the largest cycling events in the United States.

So Solvang is in fact in CA, a town of Danish immigrants in the 19th century, remodeled for tourism after the second world war.

@schoonerchow the GC contenders and TT specialists would average something like 29-31mph, but for the rest, way slower than that- and deliberately so. they treat it as a rest day.

@schoonerchow i really dont know but a in shape fan of cycling can easily do 23 on a tt bike so i would expect there guys to do like 28-29
