This one is a song I had to take from one of our concert tapes as I don't have an actual video of us playing it. This is a beautiful ballad with heart-touching lyrics. As a steel player, it was one of my favorite songs during my tour with Ty. I hope you enjoy it.

The slide show is just a little Ty Herndon history trivia that shows the various phases of the band before Ty got his record deal and then after he signed with Epic and we started touring with him (for those who are curious about how the band started and who all we had before we did our 5-year Epic tour).

  • Very very good job, awesome voice.

  • What an amazing job, my grandfather loved this song and every time he got the chance he would sing it and play it. This really really gave me some comfort after his passing, so thank you for the beautiful voice, I can really see you put your heart into this song when you were singing this. We need more true and real country artist like yourself.

  • This happens to be one of my best songs.

    Great song buddy!!!

  • My buddy, Jerry Laseter, wrote this song. Jerry is an awsome song writer and I am proud to call him my friend. We palyed in a band called Dirt Road Express back in the 80's before Jerry moved to Nashville.

  • Sweet playing on that horn--I've been playing the Gary Allen version on my old Sho-Bud but I like your version better. That "Buddy Who" comment made me wonder--are you using the Emmons copendant? Just wondering. Keep Steelin'!

  • Thanks So Much Jim I Love The Steel & You Sure Can make it Sing Baby Thanks so Much

  • Buddy WHO!!!!!!!! LoL

"only steel players understand the comment"
