  • WOW! is right!...where is this from?

  • Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. Used to be on in syndication late Saturday nights back in the 70's.

  • Phoebe Snow is so under-rated. She is phnomenal!

  • Most distinctive voice around. I love her.

  • In 1976 I use to go to tapings of Don Kirshner's rock shows in Hollywood, I was going to school there I was 16 ,so cool...

  • This song is a remake of a Sam Cooke hit, from Phoebe's 1st album. I love live performances. She takes it even further than the record , plus "Gone At Last" (from Paul Simon)...Great stuff!!!

    Thanx 4 posting

  • she will be sorely missed, what a great talent!

  • she could swing, what a treasure

  • Riverside Chapel on 76th Street 180 west N.Y.N.Y. Sunday 2-5 7-9 Monday 11:00 Phoebe Snow 07-17 1950----- 04-26-2011 Rest in Peace My sweet Queen of my emotions....

  • The honesty in this recording lyes in the backround hiss of the recording. Amazing!. Miss the REAL thing. Too clean and perfect now!

  • Thanks for all of the good times you gave us, Phoebe. RIP

  • I LOVE the comment about real musicians/real instruments. The young people of today have NO idea what they are missing! I think that I am going to run out and find every Phoebe recording I can get my hands on. We love you, PS! RIP.

  • What? REAL musicians playing REAL instruments? Bring 'em back please ...! RIP Phoebe ... thanks for the music!!

  • I saw Phoebe in Akron Ohio in or around 1989, and her voice was truly explosive- better range than Streisand, and the emotional content was R E A L. One of the greatest singer/songwriters to have ever lived, though never truly appreciated ; but for those who followed her music through the years- a belated 'thank you' for the gift of your music, Phoebe
