@BenChanViolin I know it's only been about 10 months but I'm wondering how the idea of createing an "adult" or more mature vershion of your program is going?

BenChan, I think that this is a wonderful idea teaching musical concepts on line and hopes of beginning one for adults; wishing you well and the most of good fortune in your creative musical endeavor. (GMT) giovanni

@BenChanViolin When on this site, and when you learn notes, can you learn them in more than one clef? I'm a viola player, and have been having problems reading some of the higher notes in alto (High F, G, A, B on A string) I've been focusing on learning treble lately, and put the higher notes off for later
just wondering will this work for me. I'm 26 and I barely know how to read sheet music and transferring that to a piano is way beyond my understanding.

@kairon156 While I'm certainly not Ben, nor am I anywhere near his skill level, I CAN vouch for the site. Being far older than the target audience, some of the aspects of the site do seem very childish (as they're meant to). That said, the core material is fantastic! In a very short amount of time, the site has taught me the basics of sight reading, identifying specific notes strictly by ear (relative pitch), identifying specific instruments by sound alone, and more.

@1102642 Thanks for that insight! I'm actually hoping we can make an adult access version of the curriculum so that those of you who want to learn the basics can do so without feeling odd about being in a world shared by elementary-aged kids. I'll see what I can do and will keep you updated on that!

im an adult and i want to cut and harm with the violin and soothe if need be.What i mean to say is,will this cute course develop a strong foundation for the music?

@rastan1977 I believe this course will prove itself out in the long run, but with 30,000 kids in our Woogi World Music Club, I have a host of practice logs and essays where they've thanked me for being able to learn important musical skills through online games. I consider this music course to be several notches higher in depth and effectiveness. Especially for those of you with younger kids, I challenge you to take the course with them and see what you learn over the 30+ weeks of material!
