smoking joe was not a man. he came to be when a meteor hit mars and landed on earth. it rained and the rock cooled. lightning struck the rock and frazier busted out with the looping left hook that landed on ali's chin. it was then that God smiled and spoke those fateful words, " Smokin'"

@tw69hands2 well thats a shame that the B Boys in The Freshest Kids dont know the true origin of BreakDancing. Its not surprising though. Many people are ignorant to African Traditions & Culture & how it was spread throughout the world.
-
The B-Boys on the film 'The Freshest Kids' never said anything about Capoeira or anything African when they were asked about where breakdancing came from. I think that conclusion was drawn independently from B-Boy culture more than likely from some historian who wanted to make a scholarly conclusion without really studying Hip Hop Culture properly.

@worldworks I hear you about the "African self-hate", but, in some parts of the diaspora, we still parctice the arts left by the slaves. In my dads country, they practice Kalenda or stick-licking. Other arts exsit but thats for you to go find out. Also, if you come out with your uneducated statements, be prepared to back your chat.....
