  • I have been using quicken for windows and the main feature I do not see in QEM is the calendar or future balance.

Is that feature available in QEM?

  • @weg220

There is no calendar, and the forecasted balance will include future scheduled transactions. However, there is no projected net worth. I think that is what you are looking for.

  • Thanks for putting this together John! Amazing information. Would you recommend using QEM for a small business? I know it's not meant for business, I just need to have the most simple product as QuickBooks kills me.

  • @roccitconsulting

I really cannot tell you if QEM would satisfy the needs of your business. I know some people use it (and even handle payroll with it). I know it is more powerful than people initially give it credit for, but it does have its limitations. I have never run my own business, so I can't really comment more than that. I think the big question, however, is can you provide the data that Mr. IRS man wants.

  • Very high quality tutorials, they are awesome. Thank you very much :D

  • Yeah, my needs are pretty simple. I can get around the fact that it doesn't do invoicing, I only send out a couple/month. I will see about the reporting and if that would be a block.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, much appreciated.
