who cares if michigan lost to app state when they went on to beat florida...and illinois (who was a surprisingly good team that year)...and michigan state themselves! and penn state! you guys beat us 3 years in a row currently...i believe before that we beat you guys 6 in a row. rich rod is gone! as long as they get the defense going again there is no way michigan isnt a powerhouse again in 2 maybes 3 years

@xXAllThatRemainsxXx well, Michigan went on to compete against #12 Florida and beat them. Who cares if they lost to App State? That year, they won their 3rd straight national title (not bcs national title) and they were ranked in the AP poll, and teams like Notre Lame weren't. In other words, it really wasn't as big as an upset as people would think. Also, this is not the first time MSU was beaten by CMU. So stop bitching when you are losing 67-30 all time vs Michigan. You still got ways to go.
