@RPGTKingpin Yeah I know I'm just saying she wasn't the end all be all. She was designed for commerce raiding with the firepower and armor to destroy escorting warships along with the convoy too. Fighting other battleships though was never part of the plan. The Royal Navy was just too damn big.

@LYinKansas 5 months ago I probably knew that. but at this point I've forgotten most of the information I knew about the Bismarck aside from the fact it was one of the most formidable warships of WWII :P

@RPGTKingpin actually there were at least 3 seperate penetrations of the main armor belt on Bismarck. All of her turrets were knocked out of action and at least half the 5 inch turrets have penetrations as well. Bismarck was already listing heavily when the crew set the scuttling charges. She was well on her way to the bottom. The only reason she didn't explode like hood is because the crew put the boilers out and the fire didn't reach the magaizine.
