@Sammerkona Not all "Polygamists follow the BOM" but many known Polygamist groups do such as the FLDS and many others...

@Shenlung67 That is the LDS church mormon is not a church but a name for followers of J. Smith/the BoM and their are many sects. that do practice polygamy and altho most don't call themself mormons ppl refer to them as mormon... The LDS church is the largest and best in my opinion of them and there was polygamy at some point in the past before the church became what it is today...

The LDS decision to ban poygamy was purely a political decision. For Utah to become a state they needed to conform to the rest of the Nation's laws. Polygamists follow the BOM as well, and they can call themselves Mormon.

You are totally reckless, and without knowledge, I am a Mormon boy and we do not practice polygamy, we have different patterns of the world, different from other people. But we also know how to love and respect our colleagues are not polygamists, is a lot of courage to write a book without knowing what they are writing about!!!

I agree. I'm a mormon girl and we DON'T do polygamy... at least not anymore. We did at first but it ended pretty quickly.

Have you acually been to a lds church? You should. Theres nothing wrong with us. Its just like any other religions. So... next time you say you have "studied" religion. Oi! I'm a mormon girl, but. . . um. . . we don't do polygamy. I've been in the mormon church all my life, and let me tell ya, there is no polygamy WHATSOEVER!!!
