  • Surprised that no one has mentioned it, but that curve is actually known in DFW as "Dead Man's Curve". Also it should be mentioned that there are plans to "defreeway" that area into a landscaped boulevard and have a proper connection to I-45 built.

  • @rantanamo thanks for the info on its name . according to plans sent to me by TxDOT and schematics , the interchange is to be rebuilt and will be built to freeway standards , however this was released in 2009, and it the only schematic of the project . if you are intrested in seeing send me a personal message with your e-mail and ill be glad to send it over.

  • Nice. Thanks for sharing.

  • i love this freeway but need to be repaved badly good job man love it keep up the good work bro

  • many have actually died there. Cars usually bounce off of it and end up in the yards to the right after the curve. Very scary.

  • @rantanamo I slow down to look at the wall and see all those "beauty marks" people did over the years from not slowing down. Didnt a semi hit the wall and catch fire just a couple of years ago?

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2 when you do, I can give you much information about Amarillo and the stuff there. I've known Amarillo almost all my life. Be sure to mention that US60 West leads to my hometown Hereford, TX
