  • excellent series presenting all sides of this complex issue in eastern NC.

  • PUT IT ON EM PD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • then we learn to speak chinese...

  • can you buy some imported shrimp, and test them or swab them and see what grows? if some serious stuff grows you will be on CNN within 24 hours. Bring the issue to the front lines and the media will jump on board and it will in turn help save the US shrimp industry...

  • it's a shame we can't support american shrimpers...one of the last true american industry...the govt has been involved for many years and look at the situation we are in. It scares me to think we have to involve them more. The only thing the Feds should do is require truth in labeling on the SOURCE of the shrimp and the demand for US shrimp will go back up.

  • foreign trade, more important than american jobs!

  • How about $0.70 for 16/20 in Louisiana right now and the shrimpers went on strike this week all the shrimpers in Louisiana did .all the shrimpers in the U.S. should do this at the same time

  • great vid. i heard as low as a 1.00 to the boat for 16/20 but i dont know if its the truth. i feel sorry for the shrimpers. one of the best fruits of the sea and now they are the cheapest. fish prices are sky high though in nc right now, guess they dont have spots and speckle trout in malaysia.

  • Thanks my friend

  • allen3200: I don't know you, yet I so much respect your commitment to support the commercial fisherman in this country! I was so single-minded with my concern about life in Polynesia, where I am moving soon, that I did not grasp the bigger picture you guys are facing in the US, where I got my opportunity as an immigrant. This video should help every open-minded man to see that the issue is universal, Many thanks for your work! You will be very welcome in the small island of Maupiti! Cheers!
