Installing Gibson Burstbuckers into an Silverburst Epiphone SG. This guitar belongs to my friend Steve who is the lead singer/rhythm guitarist in Dresden's Burning but is also the drummer in another band with me (April Ventura and the Magnolias). He had asked me to show him how to install pickups and given our schedules I opted to video the procedure instead. I unfortunately don't have the best camera (all my money went into my guitar and bass gear).

Forgive the chops. I have been playing bass in April Ventura and the Magnolias for the last three months and haven't spent much time on the guitar.

My background is that I build my own guitars and do my own guitar adjustments. I studied guitar repair under Fred Marotta at the Repair Zone in San Diego back in the 90's. I don't claim to know the "right" way to do anything, I just do it the way it will get it done.

Also...I say "um" a lot. I mumble. I talk more than necessary. I have no clue how to edit the footage. These were all one-takes...I didn't redo any of the footage. With that said, keep the comments friendly and use the fast forward/scrolling feature of youtube if you are impatient or dislike the aforementioned.
