I'm not that girl from wicked

Hey Youtube! So i just woke up and i cant stop thinking about how a friend of mine told me im not great at singing but its like i love singing, so that hurt a little. but i wanna get better. But he has no experience in singing.. I know im not the best around but maybe i could get some advice from you guys, maybe on my singing now and if its really that bad and what i can do to make it better?? please and thank you.

once you are on the notes, its fine! i think that all you have to work on is getting to each note, you tend to slide from the end of one to the beginning of the next, and keep your eyes open because (i know it sounds weird) but closing your eyes is a way of cutting off the audience x apart from this you get the notes its just getting to and from each one x

you have got a good voice but do some warm ups before you begin to sing, stuff like going up and down the scale. try some lip trilling to get your mouth moving properly otherwise it sounds a bit mumbled. you also need to sing with a lot more power, it sounds good, but one thing that is stopping it from being great is that perhaps it sounds a bit pathetic. lip trilling really helped me when singing this song, and many other songs. just keep working and youll become more confiden.

Do vocal exercises, your breathing is heavy and shaky just relax your not bad but maybe try not to be so tense just relax :)

Actually there is potential. You just have to be more confident. Seems like you were nervous. Use more breath so you can sing louder and sit up straighter. Oh! And dont forget to smile!
