World AIDS Day Flash Mob 12-4-2011

Planned Parenthood of New York City Sex Ed Activists organized a flash mob in Union Square to mark World AIDS Day 2011. The mobilization event raised awareness about HIV/AIDS in NYC, and encouraged folks to incorporate prevention and testing into their everyday lives.

The sex ed chant said by participants during the flash mob is:

We are sex ed activists
and we're getting out the word
about AIDS today

HIV is still around
Wear a condom, stay safe and sound

You can have it without knowing
The infection rate in NYC is growing

Get yourself tested!
Always use protection!

That's the only way
To prevent the infection

I own this body
I treat it with respect
I love myself
And I have protected sex
