  • Tex doesn't need to practice on a target, when someone mugs him, he shoots himself in the leg and isn't held responsible. I kidd :P

  • @KnivesEh tex took a bullet to the knee but not an arrow, even though he deer hunts with a bow, irony at its best

  • If the average person, who is the average voter and the majority of voters, sees someone do something really, REALLY stupid with a firearm and then decides to go watch MORE videos of guys doing stupid crap, then listens to a gun control advocates argument then its not far fetched to think that maybe this guy would vote for gun control if given the chance. IF enough people feel that way and ARE given the chance we could have another TEN YEAR "assault weapons" band like from 1995-2005.

  • I totally agree with you man. I have always said the same thing and some people still get so crazy about it. Thanks for the share!

  • Truer words were never spoke!

  • You could also point a empty gun at your reflection in a mirror.

  • Hi,Jeff.Just subbed your channel and commented on it! Good video but waveman1500 is right you need a diversion! Check out my video's. Stay Safe! Kip.

  • LOL I always see the guy with the slicked back hair in a sweatshirt and sweat pants holding a .38

  • I know I'm a month late to the BBQ but this was a great vid and something a lotta folks don't think about. I don't remember the names but there are several programs you can buy that basically give you a bunch of realistic targets you can print out out on your own printer for very cheap. Cheaper Than Dirt used to sell one IIRC.

  • One thing that i did that helped me adjust to having a gun point at me was I played airsoft. I played it competitively for several years but my fist time staring down a "gun" barrel, I froze, but my opponent did not have the same problem. But i will say that this is a very good video in how is shows some of the downfalls of people training with guns for self defense.

  • I'm pretty sure that if you do see someone pointing a gun at you, it is already too late to draw a weapon.

  • @cutlerylover

Tex used to shoot arrows at deer.... but then he took a bullet to the knee.
