Former New York Giant George Martin walks across the U.S.A. for 9/11 rescue workers while Uncle Sam sits on his keister.

The 3,000 mile walk took Mr. Martin 10 months. He lost 40 pounds and went through 24 pairs of shoes and 80 pairs of socks.

He raised $2 million, took 10 months out of his life to help the people who have been SCREWED, SHAFTED and LIED TO by the Bush Administration. So, to review:

The GOVERNMENT lied to the first responders, which resulted in them getting sick, and then refused to help them.

A PRIVATE CITIZEN -- a fairly rich one, at that -- then stepped up and did something to help out, expending significant personal effort.
