@DJSTEVIET1 B4 I GO WHEN I BROUGHT A NEW COMPLETE TONE ARM THE WIRES WERNT VERY LONG SO WHEN I FOLLOWED YOUR VIDEO ON REPLACING IT YOU STATED YOU HAVE TO UNSOLDER THE TINY WIRES FROM THE OLD ARM THEN RESOLDER THE NEW ONES ON,I OBVIOUSLY COUULDNT DO AS NEW WIRES TO SHORT SO I CUT THE OLD WIRES BY THE ANTISKATE BUTTON AND DONE A TIGHT TWIST CONNECTION TO THE WIRES ON THE NEW ARM WHICH WAS VERY DIFFICULT BUT IS NOW COMPLETE,DO U THINK THAT CAN AFFECT THE SOUND QUALITY,ALL JOINS ARE TAPED SEALED

How much does the COMPLETE tonearm assembly cost? So far i can only find seperate parts not a complete set-up
psykick77 1 year ago
@psykick77 hi there, you will find it quite hard to find a hole tone arm assembly new because its not a standard replacement part, you will have better luck finding one second hand, the price will vary depending one the condition, age .ect but your looking at any thing form £30 - £100 for a really good condition one.
what I did to get that part was to buy a knackered 1200 that had a good tone arm, cost me like £60 and had some other spare parts left over.
thanks for your comment
nice one!!!
