Rep. Marshall is challenged on a couple of his points. A previous questioner had asked about the Fair Tax. Marshall claimed he had spoken to the experts cited by John Linder and Neal Boortz, and that those experts had said that the Fair Tax would not work because of the fraud that would be inherent in the system.
This questioner asked why Marshall would be concerned with potential tax fraud in the Fair Tax when the current head of the IRS, Timothy Geithner, was dishonest with his tax reporting.
The questioner then challenged Marshall's statement that he was not interested in reading any alternate health care proposals, including HR 3400, because they had no chance of passage. Cheers ensue.
Notice how Marshall doesn't answer the question, and instead focuses on the one specific example she raises in order to make it look like he's concerned and doing something. Democrat compassion is a wonder to behold.
so.............now to ask questions at town hall meetings you have to be an expert?? i thought this was a Q and A for the public, not just experts?
