Oh my gosh, clothes, shoes and accessories.... The Market at 8281 South Harvard Avenue is awesome for those things. But wait a second, I'm a dude and ya...although The Market is amazing for shopping, there is something even more special about this spot that everyone should know about. Hidden in the back left corner of The Market is one of South Tulsa's best kept secrets. A small bistro called The Ripe Tomato is serving up innovative, fresh, homemade lunch dishes that will fill you up and keep you coming back for more.

Cranberry Feta Guacamole at The Ripe Tomato in Tulsa

Over the past week I have tried several times to explain the flavors that I experienced when indulging in the made-to-order Cranberry Feta Guacamole at http://tulsafood.com - The Ripe Tomato. All I can say is that if you are thinking "No Way", don't. This dish created by restaurant owner Roy Romain is deserving of some kind of award. It is a combination of flavors that will surprise you and have you hooked. The cranberry really complements the rich, fresh mashed avocados with slight bitter sweet cranberry flavors and then there is a perfect, subtle bite of the feta that is sort of tangy. Mixed up right as you order it.... BAM!
