Lots of kids such my sister and I were placed for adoption in questionable ways.

The hubris of CAS is the delusion that having power to "re-manage" our children automatically bestows upon them God-like wisdom to correctly do so. They aren't God like people, they are just sshlubs like anyone. And their judgement is clouded with their foolish sanctimony & overweaning sense of institutional power.

@mommytoalot but now those agencies..CAS, FACS, are OVER-stepping boudaries..taking kids for TOTALLY STUPID and senseless reasons!! TRUST ME on that...google them...find out how many workers have been reprimanded for BS!!

@sexilady72 Iam WITH YOU on this!! they took my daughter for missing school, and all because she'd been sick! I assume you live in the Niagara area cause you called them FACS?? I'm in Hamilton where they are known as CAS (among other *choice* names many ppl have for those self-righteous assholes!) I didn't even HARM my child, NOTHING and she's gone!! I get to see her 90 mins a week, and now they are trying to lessen it! If you wanna chat send me a private message Hugs to u and family.

@TheWhiteBuster the abuse by CAS workers to Aboriginal families is just as, if not more rampant than to 'white' families. This isn't Karma, it's a complete abuse of power that goes well beyond the boundaries of race, class, and gender.

I have fought for parent's right in Ontario for 7 years and know first hand the corruption within CAS. Its a patethic system run like a corporation where the bottom line is money, at the expence of families torn apart

never talk or deal with CAS with out them having a court order, they have NO powers with out it, if they have a court order get a lawyer, people need to know their rights and expose CAS for what they are, ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY TO THEM

The system is so currupt that even a youth can use CAS's lack professionalism and questionable conduct against them, I have seen things like false charges being placed on youth who were innocent but did not comply with rules or AWOLed but If they get you arrested and you get relesed to there custody, you have to go into their custody, then when you step out of line the charge you with violating bail conditions like "Fail to abide by the rules of the house in wich you reside.

They took a bond from a mother and child and its all because she didn't want to go to school cause of being bullied :( Then they had the school board involved and she told lies to facs and they believe the first thing that they hear so they took her from me my life, my daughter Ive been a wreak since they took her :( telling me they will have her call which my daughter hasn't :( court papers saying lies after lies after lies I can't believe it :( I HATE FACS SO MUCH!

My little girl was taken from me suddenly from FACS from her school just this past wed, I freaked out asking them to hand my daughter back and they told me they couldn't cause they had a warrent to take her from me :( they showed me no warrent all they could say calm down your child doesn't need to see you acting like this :( I told them my daughter should see me like this cause for her toknow what they are doing. I haven't stopped crying since they took her from me :( the lies that they said!!
