I think you are confused. Addiction is a choice once you get clean and accept help. Addicts who are active have no choice, to say that they do is utterly ridiculous!

No I am not confused. If you know anything that has been published by thr American medical Association, The you know it is a DNA factor passed on through genes. for 98% of addicts. Addiction runs back so far in my family no one can remeber or even knows where it started. It is brain disorder. Check it out. These are things that happen in drug induced lifestyle. I know plenty of women that have contracted AIDS from selling themselves to get drugs and also gotten pregnant because of the same or some 1 night stand with a guy that had alot of dope or money. To imply that all drug use causes domestic violence, abortion and homelessness is out of line. I've seen plenty of people who are sober and beat their kids, and homeless people who aren't drunks. Just not digging the associations you're making, man.

You are right about the child abuse and homeless. But in more cases those who are durg addicts these are the things that happen as a result of the lifestyle. I am a recovering drug addict of 33 yrs. and my parents were too. So I believe I have intense knowledge on the subject of life on drugs and the life style
