Plot- The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed's car, the Mach 5. The owner of Royalton Industries makes Speed a lucrative offer, Speed rejects the offer, angering the owner. Speed also uncovers a secret that top corporate interests, including Royalton, are fixing races and cheating to gain profit. With the offer to Speed denied, Royalton wants to ensure that Speed will not win races. Speed finds support from his parents and his girlfriend Trixie and enters The Crucible in a partnership with his one-time rival, Racer X, seeking to rescue his family's business and the racing sport itself. • I absolutely loved speed racer. The action scenes had me hooked, and the talking scenes were cheesey but accurate to the cartoon, and the whole movie was so stylistically amazing it just captivated me. Im just glad I saw it in theaters.

  • thats a lousy excuse

you don't have to wait to be entertained by a good movie

  • Same hear don i want to thro poop on the wall when i scene this movie. I agree with you alot with everything you just said.

  • chingen asu madre jajjajajaja

  • I heard that ,movie was not well done. Same with the dragonball movie from earlier this year. That was actually amped up and made a little darker and more adult. The original censored american carttoon show got like a Y or Y7 rating. (They did get TV 14 until Z and GT Series)

  • When they would cut out a little bit of the loooong talking scenes the movie would be awesome.

  • lol the original anime character seems to be gay. XD Emile Hirsch was okay. I mean, damn, he had a girlfriend. Christina Ricci!! :D
