I remember doing deck director for HSL-48 as an ADAN. Our R.A.S.T. had issues and would lock out causing the bird to roll hard. The teeth on the R.A.S.T. were also the wrong model so the R.A.S.T probe would slip through the teeth.

@OpoMan17...I don't know why the LSE would be doing this as the det. should be handling the straightening. I did as an airmen for the detachment. Only the det. did this (except for hot pump).
