I agree with you. The scary thing about the movie is that it COULD happen. I honestly don't think the daughter would kill any family members anyway.

I think the movie happens everyday. Handsome men like Ted Bundy, killed many people because they were lured and abused. But I think it is how society has raised there sons to value them more and the abusive thoughts towards women that are allow and this behavior leads to abusive behavior. A man that attacks women indiscriminately does so because he only has power over women. I had 4 guy roommates in college and never had a problem.

Yes--I guess it is about the melancholy, not an across the board similarity. There is one song in particular, off In Rainbows, the Iron Butterfly remake...that came to mind.
